Toby Keith has won $2.8 million in damages in the 2001 accident that killed the country music star’s father.

A jury returned the verdict last week against Elias Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez, operators of Rodriguez Transportes of Tulsa, and the Republic Western Insurance Co., the owners of the charter bus found to be “in urgent need” of brake repairs before Keith’s father, H.K. Covel, was killed in a collision, the Associated Press reports.

“The jury found no fault on the part of Mr. Covel in the wreck that claimed his life,” attorney Greg Dixon said.

After last week’s preview of Britney Spears’s new video, “Piece of Me,” its director, Wayne Isham, is now offering some insight into what it was like to work with her on it.

Spears gets nothing but high marks, according to the producer, whose credits include videos for Madonna, Metallica, Faith Hill and ‘N Sync.

“On set,” says Isham of Spears, “she was very professional, excited to work and beautiful as always. I was impressed with her focus as she choreographed the dance herself. Her endurance was remarkable, as we had a long day.”

It seems like ever since Lindsay Lohan got out of rehab, we have seen her wear nothing but leggings. In this case she decided to mix things up and go with a shiny pair rather than standard black. I’m really starting to wonder if she has thrown all her real pants away. The outfit on a whole looks very put together, though. What do you think of her grey metallic jacket and animal print shirt?
